Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator manages the daily activities and coordinates the tasks of Six Sigma project teams. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Six Sigma Quality Project Administrator typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Summary

    The Quality Assurance Coach (QAC) creates and oversees our school-based programming in accordance with organizational standards and performance objectives. The QAC must drive academic gains by collaborating with staff, District/community partners, students, and families while ensuring nurturing and safe learning environments. The Quality Assurance Coach will provide technical assistance, coaching, and monitoring of Youth and Site Leaders at multiple District sites for site-based, expanded learning programs to ensure that high-quality, expanded learning programs are consistently delivered to students. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Coach will assist in scheduling employees, assist the Assistant Program Director with administrative duties, and ensure the safety and quality of programs.

    As a Quality Assurance Coach, you will 
    model professionalism and leadership for Site Coordinators, provide staff development training and follow-up coaching and support to ensure they are best prepared to teach, help, inspire, and nurture students. 

    Primary Responsibilities

    Program Compliance/Management
    • The QAC will support the Assistant Director of Programs and work alongside program leadership to develop staff and ensure program-wide standards and best practices are followed at all expanded learning sites.
    • Maintains observation logs, site visit reports, and agendas as documentation of technical assistance provided.
    • Coordinates delivery of services to sites such as special events, guest speakers, and field trips.
    • Acts as a resource to site staff in curriculum development and as a student recruitment, retention, and program design leader. Assists in the selection of appropriate curriculum and materials. 
    • Assists in the YAP staff recruitment process
    • Attends scheduled meetings with CAPS administration
    • Approve and input time corrections as needed in our payroll system

    Staff  Management
    • The Quality Assurance Coach ensures that Site Coordinators are ready to create a quality expanded learning program; this allows students to experience the following:
      •  physical and emotional safety
      •  positive student-to-student and student-to-adult relationships
      •  engaging and relevant academic and enrichment activities
      •  growth in academic achievement
      •  opportunities for youth leadership. 
    • Provide support, assistance, modeling, and guidance to sites and staff to implement quality expanded learning programs in compliance with requirements.
    • In collaboration with the Site Coordinators, and Assistant Director of Programs, the QAC will provide leadership, coaching, training, and performance assessments for program staff to ensure quality programming is delivered to students. 

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in liberal studies or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of related experience preferred.
    • At least 2-4 years in leadership or staff development position; leadership experience in recreation or educational field desirable
    • Ability to Support Site Coordinators in professionally and effectively collaborating with school administration, staff, public officials, private sector officials, parents, and community leaders
    • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
    • Public speaking skills
    • CPR and First Aid are required within 30 days of hire.
    • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

    Requirements
    • Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends
    • Willing to travel to off-site staff development training and events
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Google Suite, and project management software
    • Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting), Background Check, and Tuberculosis Test
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Ability to identify and implement effective teaching strategies appropriate for students 
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community.
