Six Sigma Quality Program Manager jobs in Vincennes, IN
Six Sigma Quality Program Manager leads and manages Six Sigma projects. Plans and develops guidelines, targets, and standards used for monitoring and measuring results. Being a Six Sigma Quality Program Manager incorporates Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. Coaches and trains teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Program Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Typically reports to a director. The Six Sigma Quality Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Six Sigma Quality Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Quality Inspectors perform various sorting, inspection, production, and data capture. Quality Inspectors work in partnership with our customers to contain and improve quality issues the most efficient way possible. Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Performs various sorting, inspection, production, and data entry
- Reads and follows work instructions, work rules and directions
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area
- Uses inspection, measuring and test equipment as required
- Completes required training classes
- Follows all employee policies and other duties as assigned
