Job Title: Property Management Assistant

Location: Mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, within a 15-minute radius

Pay Range: $25-30 per hour on top of a fixed rate for being available for guest communication

Benefits: Flexible work schedule, mostly remote work, discounted use of vacation rentals for self

Hours: Flexible, approximately 5-8 hours per week, with potential for additional hours on occasion.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Property Management Assistant. This position offers the flexibility of remote work but requires residency within a 15-minute commute of the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrate a commitment to top-notch customer service, and exhibit strong communication abilities. Salt Lake Six manages properties from Washington County, UT to Island Park, ID.

Skills Required:

• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
• General knowledge of high-end hospitality practices.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• No specific experience necessary, although experience in property management is a plus. No degree or credentials required.

Responsibilities:

• Airbnb Management:
• Handling Airbnb messaging on platforms such as Hospitable and Google Voice.
• Ensuring prompt responses to guest inquiries and issues during all hours.
• Addressing noise monitor alerts occasionally during sleeping hours.
• Financial Management:
• Bookkeeping tasks, including ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Assisting with client invoicing.
• General business administration support, including tasks like coordinating homeowners insurance renewals, HOA communications, and utility account management.
• Property Maintenance:
• Managing cleaning schedules and coordinating with cleaning crews to prepare properties for guests.
• Conducting occasional walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and address maintenance issues.
• Coordinating maintenance tasks with contractors and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Administrative Duties:
• Filing quarterly taxes.
• Updating property listings as needed.
• Handling miscellaneous tasks such as replenishing supplies, running errands, and attending to guest requests.
• Managing the email account and flagging items that require attention.
• Providing a weekly report of completed tasks.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Monitoring pricing strategies (no decision-making required).
• Handling miscellaneous tasks such as obtaining special guest requests.
• Assisting with business licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Familiarity with property management practices preferred but not required.
