Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Director with a Secret Security Clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. This is a Hybrid opportunity.

The Lean Six Sigma Director will provide Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) expertise and consulting to JPEO A&A, the PEO community, and U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (DEVCOM AC) in support of ongoing initiatives.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Serve on and support Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) [ASA(ALT)] program management IPTs, in all CPI and transformation activities.
- Support assembly of senior level briefing packages often with quick turnarounds
- Support strategic joint enterprise initiatives.
- Continuously benchmark industry and other government agencies best practices to improve training process.
- Ensure consistency in approval and distribution processing of all communication.
- Provide analytical and assessment capability for prioritized enterprise level projects, organizational efficiency, and a variety of other initiatives.
- Co-lead the continued growth and improvement of the Joint Provisioner JPEO A&A / DEVCOM AC Community of Practice (CoP)
- Collaborate with the Black Belt / Master Black Belt Community of Practice (COP) to create structure and establish tools to support opportunities for improvement.
- Develop briefing packages, communication materials, Lean Six Sigma curriculum and instruction materials.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 15 years’ experience in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) activities/initiatives, working improvement projects to assure continuous process and performance improvement development and execution.
- Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of LSS Body of knowledge and industry training standards,
- Required to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
- Proficient using the Approach / Deployment / Learning / Integration (ADLI) methodology.
- Strong facilitation skills
- Expert in industry best practices for benchmarking with industry, academia, and government agencies

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
