Klingberg is a private non-profit multi service agency who provides help to thousands of people across Connecticut each year. Our goal is to extend hope and healing to children and families whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms, sever family problems and mental health issues.
We are looking to hire a part time Receptionist for our Quality Parenting Center. Our Quality Parenting Center (QPC) provides opportunities for parents to have supervised family time with their children, learn and practice new parenting skills, repair family relationships, and improve the quality of the parent-child interaction. Under the supervision of the Quality Parent Center Coordinator, provides overall clerical and data entry support to the Quality Parent Center and its staff and clients.

Typical Duties Include:
Assist with maintaining program files and their confidentiality; monitors the flow of data collection and ensures records are kept up to date through accurate data entry and clerical duties.
Answer and screen incoming telephone calls from referral sources and clients and provides appropriate information.
Greet and respond to visitors to the QPC, including staff members, clients and their families, and the public.
Sort and distribute incoming and interdepartmental mail.
Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies.
Maintain sign-out logs for office equipment.
Assist in sanitizing space, toys, etc.
Education/Experience/Other Requirements:
High School diploma required.
1-3 years’ clerical experience preferred.
Effective verbal and written communications.
Must be culturally competent and demonstrate the ability to work with diverse populations.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
