    To support its growth, we are looking for a seasoned Process Improvement Manager to direct all activities for the management and communication in manufacturing.  

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the reliability and timeliness of reporting processes across affiliated companies.
    • Supervise the maintenance and functionality of existing systems for record-keeping and data analysis.
    • Communicate both positive and negative outcomes to regional technical directors, operations managers, managing directors, and executive management.
    • Identify reasons for performance gaps between actual and design specifications, proposing suitable CapEx and operational solutions.
    • Utilize personal and in-house knowledge of manufacturing systems to drive process improvements.
    • Establish systems for monthly reporting on CapEx project progress, encompassing present cost, forecast cost, budget, and timeline.
    • Provide regular updates on plant audits, scores, issue status, and overall progress.
    • Develop a process for reporting a quality index for each affiliate and the commodity trading function.
    • Integrate a safety index into group management reporting in collaboration with the EHS manager.
    • Assist other departments in applying technical solutions to enhance plant operations, focusing on efficiency, EHS concerns, food safety, and purchasing efficiency.
    • Spearhead efforts to measure and improve energy consumption for company's affiliates.
    • Serve as the central point for company, harnessing technical expertise from regional directors, engineering, and the industry.
    • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for flow diagrams.
    • Lead the gap analysis of the group’s assets and diagrams, prioritizing major opportunities based on return on investment.
    • Manage process improvement projects as assigned by the VP-Plant Operations.



    Requirements


    Required Qualifications:


    • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in milling science, engineering, or a related manufacturing discipline within the food industry.
    • Accumulation of 5 or more years of pertinent experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in overseeing plant operations with responsibility for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Profound knowledge of plant systems, encompassing material handling, air handling, mechanical systems, and automation.
    • Proven track record in project management.
    • Familiarity with reading and interpreting financial statements.
    • Flexibility to travel approximately 25-30% during the initial year, particularly across developing regions, with a subsequent reduction to 10-15%.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
    • Process improvement certification (Kaizen, Six Sigma)

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in languages beyond English.
    • Background in capital project implementation.
    • International work experience.
    • Understanding of database architecture and design.
