    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acts as the Quality Subject Matter Expert (SME) on-site, overseeing all quality standards and ensuring alignment with customer, corporate, and supply base requirements.
    • Reviews and enhances current QA and QC procedures to meet department goals, implementing improvements as necessary.
    • Validates product quality specifications and attributes, documenting evidence and establishing operational qualifications, updating quality manuals (ISO9001, AS9100D, NADCAP, etc.) as needed.
    • Advises Engineering on quality processes during design and specification phases.
    • Prepares quality reports, analyzing trends like corrective actions, process failures, recalls, and re-validations.
    • Conducts regular reviews of manufacturing and quality systems, initiating improvement cycles based on performance.
    • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing to ensure customer requirements are integrated into products and services.
    • Supports project planning and scheduling for seamless execution and delivery.
    • Manages quality tasks, work instructions, and workflows for fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and shipping/receiving.
    • Proficient in using inspection tools to verify parts meet dimensional requirements.

    · Customer interface for all quality issues requiring an understanding of OEM specifications and an ability to interpret purchase order flow downs.

    • Interface with supply chain/suppliers for all quality RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) on purchased or returned parts.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • AS9100D Subject Matter Expert with the responsibility to support the development, implementation, and management of the Quality Management System per IS09001, AS9100 and NADCAP.
    • Generate and review protocols, reports, SOPs, and product specifications.
    • Support first article testing, test analysis, manufacturing processes, documentation, project workflow, and shipping/receiving.
    • Manage quality metrics, trends, and Lean activities to enhance cost, quality, and schedule performance.
    • Direct and coordinate quality control activities to meet company objectives.
    • Foster a quality culture emphasizing root cause analysis and corrective action for continuous improvement.
    • Develop quality plans, including critical control points, preventive measures, limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification.
    • Ensure maintenance and reporting of quality system requirements.
    • Act as the quality liaison between company and customer.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Directly supervise 1-5 employees within the Quality department and Shipping and Receiving department.
    • When necessary (depending on business growth); would carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Seeking candidate with broad Quality and/or Engineering background, including customer management, contract review, quality management systems, RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action), and Six Sigma tools.
    • Bachelor's degree in technical or business field preferred.
    • 6-10 years of experience in Quality QA/QC or Engineering within aerospace manufacturing.
    • Knowledgeable in ISO9001, AS9100, and/or NADCAP quality standards.
    • Skilled in all Quality phases from design to assembly, inspection, integration, and testing.
    • Preferred proficiency in CMM programming and operations.
    • Background in Quality systems or related field, with AS9100 certification or training.
    • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, 5S, and Continuous Improvement.
    • Competent in controlling and managing non-conforming material.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant applications. Ability to communicate effectively and deliver technical presentations.
    • Solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking.
    • Detail-oriented to accurately prepare statistical reports and technical documents in support of company objectives.
    • Strong business/technical writing, presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skills.
    • Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals.
    • Willingness and ability to learn and engage with ERP system.
    • Candidate should be self-motivated, flexible, and able to succeed with several projects at the same time, work accurately under pressure and with a positive work ethic.
    • Valid Driver’s License and able to pass full background check and drug testing.
