Wellborn Forest Cabinetry is hiring a Director for Quality as a full-time job in Alexander City, AL.
As the Director of Quality, you will achieve quality assurance objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing and completing action plans and implementing production, quality, and customer service standards. The Director of Quality will report to the VP of Operations.
Wellborn Forest, a member of the HCI Portfolio, is a designer and manufacturer of semi-custom wood kitchen and bath cabinets serving the single-family residential market exclusively through the dealer channel.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve problems and determine system improvements
Meet quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identify critical control points and preventative measures, establish critical limits, monitor procedures
Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations
Job Qualifications:
8-10 years of quality management experience, preferably in cabinet manufacturing or building products
Process improvement, analyzing information, strategic planning, TS process administration and quality engineering experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong attention to detail and desire to continue improvement
Previous team management experience preferred
