Six Sigma Quality Program Director plans, designs, and directs Six Sigma projects. Develops strategy and policies required to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Being a Six Sigma Quality Program Director employs Six Sigma/Lean methodology and analytics to re-engineer organizational operations. Works with other certified professionals in the planning, designing, and implementation of key projects. Additionally, Six Sigma Quality Program Director coaches and trains teams in the utilization and deployment of Six Sigma tools and principles. Requires Six Sigma certification as Black Belt. May require a master's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Six Sigma Quality Program Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Six Sigma Quality Program Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Description

    Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of our Indianapolis, IN PulsePoint at 220 Virginia Ave.

    Responsible for developing and implementing statewide a quality improvement strategy for Indiana PathWays for Aging (LTSS)

    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Leads health plan quality strategy meetings.
    • Develops and facilitates the implementation of an annual Quality Management and Improvement program. Identifies and integrates best practices into state programs.
    • Develops performance improvement plans and oversees the clinical quality improvement activities/projects.
    • Participates in the development, management, review and reporting of program outcomes for clinical quality programs.
    • Assures compliance with corporate Quality Improvement work plans.
    • Ensures research program documentation meets regulatory and Accreditation Standards.
    • Assures accurate and complete quantitative analysis of clinical data.
    • Leads department projects and mentors staff.
    • Prepares and presents program documents to senior management.

    Minimum Requirements :

    • Requires a BS in health administration, nursing or a related clinical field; 5 years of health care quality or data analysis experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    Preferred skills, qualifications and experiences:

    • Expertise in the assessment and delivery of LTSS programs strongly recommended.
    • Current unrestricted license or certification in an applicable field (i.e. CPHQ) or MS in the health field (i.e. Nursing) preferred.
    • Knowledge of state or assigned line of business needs and priority improvement areas strongly preferred.
