Job Responsibilities:
Pick up, transport, and drop off students/passengers to required destinations on Ft. Huachuca within the 2-13th AVN REGT cantonment area as well as Sierra Vista.
Report/log transportation dispatch for each transportation event.
Obtain fuel and ensure the safe operation of vehicle.
Maintain quality of vehicle such as cleanliness, safety of operations, and preventative maintenance checks and service.
Report all traffic and transportation concerns as appropriate.
Formulate travel itineraries and plans.
Addresses employee needs and special requests during planning, handles emergencies, and issues as they arise promptly.
Be able to learn and use a variety of communication equipment as required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a valid and current Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record over past 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
Flexible schedule (shift work).
Minimum two years driver’s experience.
Must also be able to drive at night.
Must be a US Citizen.
Clean drug screening.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Rotational shift work is required; typically, 16/5 coverage, with rotations and shift hours based on work section requirements.
High School Graduate, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work/military experience.
The contractor shall have a valid State Driver’s License.
The contractor shall maintain driver’s training records and provide to the COR upon request.
All contract personnel performing as Shuttle Drivers shall complete the Support Cadre Training Course (Government provided).
Desired Qualifications:
3-5 years shuttle driving experience.
Experience with the transportation of passengers in a military setting.
Experience with the U.S. Army or other government contracting agencies.
