Overview:
We are seeking an Apprentice to join our team and learn the ropes of the trade. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on fiberglass and gelcoat experience in a busy boat repair shop at the Port of Everett.
Duties:
- Assist skilled workers in various tasks related to fiberglass and gelcoat repairs on boats
- Learn to use hand tools and power tools for repairs and rebuilds.
- Handle materials and perform shop duties as needed.
- Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job training.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Interest in boat repair and maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous experience with fiberglass and gelcoat repair is a plus.
- Familiarity with materials handling is advantageous.
