JOB TITLE: SHOP CARPENTER
PAY RANGE: $18 - $30 PER HR
JOB BRIEF - In a Nutshell:
We are looking for an experienced Shop Carpenter that has a deep knowledge base of wood working. We need someone who is willing to problem solve as a team and get the task at hand completed. This individual comes to work everyday with a good attitude and a strong work ethic.
Our goal is to hire someone that is dependable and capable of helping Pike Road Millwork complete highly custom millwork and cabinetry.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Sky is the Limit...
-help maintain a clean work environment
-complete milling list, parts assembly, and hardware installation
-setup and operate most general wood working machines
-organize both finished wood products and rough lumber
REQUIREMENTS - Bare Necessities:
-Must be able to read a tape measure
-Proven experience in wood working
-Experience using various woodworking manufacturing machinery and tools
-Communication and interpersonal skills
-Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
-Problem solving skills
-Must have ability to help carry, load, push, & pull moderate to heavy cabinets ( /- 100 lbs.) and other millwork items around the shop and on trailers.
