May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Shoe Repairer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Job Description for Shoe Manager
Reports To: Artistic Staff and Costume Director
Area of Responsibility: Wardrobe

Position Summary:
The Shoe Manager for Nashville Ballet is responsible for all artistic shoe needs, including, but not limited to, ordering shoes for NB dancers’ contractual shoe allotments throughout the season, communicating with shoe makers/representatives for proper ordering, maintaining a record of purchases and inventory, communicating with finance office regarding purchases, maintaining a knowledge of the organization’s budget in regards to dancer’s shoes, and executing specialty shoe dyeing or painting requirements as needed.
