JIMS Machining is an established company located in Camarillo California that has been manufacturing for over 50 years. We are a leader in the V-Twin aftermarket industry; producing high performance parts, tools, transmissions, and engines distributed across the World. We are looking to add to our already talented team to place a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor within our organization.
Experience:
· 3-5 years of Shipping and Receiving experience
· 2 years of Supervisor experience
SHIPPING & RECEIVING SUPERVISING:
1. Attending daily production meetings to determine requirements related to sales, shipping, production, receiving, inventory, etc.
2. Review sales orders, picking sheets, Supplier Direct Orders, etc. to determine daily, monthly, etc. shipping requirements.
3. Plan work in such a manner as to meet the various customer product order requirements and delivery dates, which include:
a. Assembly of a variety of tools and components.
b. Selecting, packaging, and boxing products for shipping.
c. Preparing labels, tags, shipping documents, etc. for product identification, shipping, tracking, etc., purposes.
d. Scheduling shipment of products with vendors such as UPS, FedEx, Trucking etc.
1. Officially accept items on behalf of JIMS, which include:
a. Visually inspect received goods for damage and act accordingly.
b. Verify quantities.
c. Record goods received as required by automated systems.
d. Take appropriate action regarding any receiving-related discrepancies.
Safety, Shop-Upkeep and Other Duties:
1. Use of Personal Protective Gear
2. Reporting injuries
3. Wearing proper clothing and shoes
4. Working in a safe manner
