POSITION TITLE :
Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for the shipping and receiving of all raw materials and finished goods, the storage of all materials and the receipt of all items into the system for billing purposes.
REPORTING TO :
Position reports to Plant Superintendent and interfaces with production, maintenance, and the lab. Additional reporting to Plant Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

Ensures correct shipment of international orders and hazardous material orders.
Ensures compliance with customer-specific requirements.
Leads in root cause and corrective action problem solving as needed.
Supervises department personnel, delegating tasks to maximize productivity.
Must be available via phone for 24 / 7 plant support.
Performs other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
High school diploma or GED required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred.
B.S. in related field preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Previous experience in a production environment desired
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will be located at the Winter Haven, and Lakeland FL, facilities.
Moderate dust.
Moderate noise.
Automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
Hot and cold climates.
Must be able to work around hot asphalt tanks, lines and pumps constantly.
Physical Requirements :
Lifting up to 60 lbs.; assisted lifting up to120 lbs., repeatedly.
Visual Acuity (including color perception).
Good Hearing.
