Responsibilities:
Working out of our Practice Support Center in East Syracuse, NY the Shipping & Receiving Associate will work Full Time to support our growing network of dental practices. Our shipping and receiving department performs the critical function that connects all of the offices that we support with the materials and products they need to serve their patients. This position will work near our Central Lab where you will see dentures and molds for oral health products so please consider this when applying. In this role you will be moving throughout the building as well as outside when working with our shipping vendors.
Plan, organize and oversee daily shipping operations to meet customer needs
Coordinate with other departments to ensure shipping deadlines are met
Conduct regular audits of shipping processes and address any issues promptly
Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock outs
Work closely with carriers and 3pl providers making sure they hit their KPI’s
Complete internal & external mail sorting and delivery.
Preparation of daily currier pick-ups to our network of offices.
Provide data entry support and reception phone coverage to internal departments
Unloading delivery trucks
Inventory management
Cycle counts
Packing and sorting of orders
Placing stock orders
Handle internal customer calls (doctors and office managers)
Assist with returns and shipping for all offices
Work closely with shipping partners to maintain schedules of deliveries
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree preferred
2-3 years related experience
Experience with FedEx shipping preferred
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
This position is Full Time, On-Site; hours 8am to 5pm with an hour lunch.
Starting pay: $27.00-32.00/hr, (depending on experience)
