Located in our Newton, Iowa facility we are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator to join our global team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing team and influence the way we operate. You will be responsible for maintaining and planning data in ERP system(s) and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, as well as completing certain requests as required by Management.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

• Perform root cause analysis to address service level or inventory variances from management plan and initiate and monitor corrective actions.
• Assists in resolving issues with schedule adherence, supplier on-time-delivery, and quality by engaging appropriate internal and external sources.
• Create and maintains inventory forecast, production plan, quality of inventory and performance to plan measurements to support service level and working capital objectives
• Establishes priorities for assigned supply base to meet customer (internal or external) requirements.
• Maintain planning, and other required information for assigned items in ERP system(s).
• Requires direct contact with material planners and manufacturing personnel to allow plant to meet production targets.
• Utilize multiple Gates' resources and systems to conduct data analysis.

• Additional duties may be asked as needed to support/ assist the planning group as well as manufacturing to attain production goals.
