Shipping and Receiving Supervisor jobs in Daytona Beach, FL
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor supervises workers who confirm and record the receipt of shipments, prepare items for shipping, and load and unload trucks. Also responsible for managing the inter-departmental transport of materials. Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Thorough knowledge of the team processes. - Operate forklift to move and organize materials within the warehouse
- Learn the product and be aware of variation of products.
- High School Education
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
