Position Overview: As the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at Terra Source Global, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of products within our supply chain. You will be responsible for managing a team of shipping and receiving personnel, coordinating logistics, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Shipping and Receiving Operations:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the shipping and receiving department.
• Ensure efficient handling, packing, and shipping of products according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, verifying accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including tracking and reporting metrics.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of shipping and receiving personnel, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Delegate tasks effectively, prioritize workloads, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
• Address and resolve any employee-related issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.

1. Logistics and Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of products.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the shipping and receiving function.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies in the shipping and receiving department.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Train employees on safe handling practices and enforce proper use of equipment and personal protective gear.

Qualifications:
