Job Title: Parts Delivery/Shipping Receiving

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Parts Delivery/Shipping Receiving professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of parts to various locations and maintaining proper shipping and receiving controls.

The Parts Delivery/Shipping Receiving position is crucial in keeping our operations running smoothly by coordinating the transportation and movement of parts, while also managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of parts to designated locations, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery in accordance with customer requirements.
- Plan and manage the most efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel expenses.
- Load and unload parts onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper placement and secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, such as delivery confirmation slips and invoices, to reconcile with orders and invoices.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before delivery, ensuring they adhere to the specifications provided by suppliers.
- Coordinate with customers or receiving parties to schedule convenient delivery dates and times, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized delivery vehicle to ensure the safety and security of parts during transit.
- Assist in the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality against packing lists or purchase orders.
- Unpack, sort, and label incoming parts, ensuring they are stored in designated locations within the warehouse or inventory area.
- Process outgoing shipments, including picking and packing parts, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating with freight carriers for timely pickup.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts and updating inventory management systems.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, departments, and vendors to resolve any delivery or shipping-related issues.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or professional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in parts delivery, shipping, or receiving roles preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy parts safely.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers and electronic devices.
