Shipping and Receiving Supervisor jobs in Burbank, CA

Shipping and receiving clerk needed to join a local company that for the last 60 years manufactures and supplies various components for the automotive industry. Shipping and receiving clerk will also be assisting with General warehouse duties and operate a sit-down forklift as needed. Position is performance to hire.

Shipping and Receiving clerk duties:

• Load / unload trucks.
• Receive materials, components and customer supplied product.
• Stock approved materials and components.
• Locate items in the warehouse physically and on the information system.
• Pick items from warehouse locations for stage for Work Orders.
• Inventory maintenance i.e., labelling, physical and weight counting, stock checks and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare Work Orders for production.
• Pick finished goods for shipment.
• Package and palletize product for shipment.
• Collaborative verbal and written communication with team members.

Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pay: $18

Location: Burbank

• Basic Math skills .
• Some business communication and computer experience, will use Outlook, Excel, and Word regularly.
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to work independently and within a team as dictated by operational priorities.
• Capable of moving light to medium weight product to and from pallets, carts, shelving, and pallet racks.
• Capable of qualifying to operate manual pallet jacks, and forklifts.
