Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team.Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and ensure accurate documentation
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing orders, labeling, and arranging transportation
- Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Perform order picking, packing, and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environmentExperience:
- No Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations necessary
- Ability to lift heavier packages
