Automotive Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Position Details:

• Location: 9000 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99218
• Schedule: Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM (Specific schedule to be determined upon hiring)
• Pay: Hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $20.00, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Prepare items for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling
• Count, weigh, or measure items in incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against records
• Determine the method of shipment and arrange transportation
• Assist in cost control measures by pre-sorting and batching outgoing items for incentives and discounts
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks to move shipments
• Receive and process unsold products returned by Parts Driver

Qualifications:

• An ability to follow directions and take feedback
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• An ability to communicate effectively with team members
• The capacity to stand for prolonged periods and endure outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wind
• An ability to move, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds
• Basic computer knowledge
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience (A plus but not required)
