Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Keep track of outgoing and incoming shipments both physically and in the computer.
- Review shipment orders to ensure they were correctly processed.
- Move goods to & from a warehouse to the loading dock.
- Responsible for returning wrong or damaged parts, keeping track of the returns through our management system and completing PO’s.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
