Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of deliveries, and ensuring proper storage of products in our cold storage warehouse. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the receiving process, including scheduling, receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments.
• Ensure the accuracy of received shipments by comparing them to purchase orders, shipping documents, and packing lists.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, or shortages and promptly report any issues to management.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure timely processing and distribution of received goods.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in the cold storage facility.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipping and receiving activities.
• Assist with inventory counts, audits, and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance receiving operations.
• Prepare and send shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations required
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant softwares.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspecting and documenting shipments.
• Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
