Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We have 3 dealerships that need shipping and receiving assistance. This role would also have some light building maintenance responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Run the shipping and receiving for the parts department
- Conduct routine maintenance work
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
