SIGNING BONUS
We are offering two signing bonuses. With satisfactory work and attendance, you would be eligible to receive $500 after 30 days and $1,000 after 6 months.
SUMMARY
Assist in shipping and receiving of parts on a timely basis and maintain accuracy of inventory to reflect parts being shipped and received. Help out in production area as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shipping/Production:
Assisting on shipping and receiving tasks – loading and unloading of trucks and managing the necessary paper work.
Setting up trucks for shipping when needed.
Assist on crating of machines for shipment.
Assisting in the assembly and packaging for shipment of products.
The specific work in the production area changes frequently and may be needed in several areas.
Receiving:
Receive incoming shipments of materials ensuring accuracy of product and amount.
Verify correctness of shipments against packing slip.
Assign GRN (tracking number) in SYSPRO to goods received.
Put parts away in the designated bins.
Miscellaneous:
Assist with the cycle count function.
Assist in machine and parts assembly.
Work safely. Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Access various computerized business and shipping systems to perform routine inventory and shipping transactions.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
1-2 years related experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to check, monitor, and review information.
Ability to work independently following general procedures.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to operate general office equipment such as telephone, copier, fax, computer, etc.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 30 pounds.
Required to stand/walk 80% of workday.
Required to be exposed to a physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements during most of a portion of the workday.
