Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Maine

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience with forklift operation, RF scanners, and working in a distribution center or warehouse environment. Responsibilities: - Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents - Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel - Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them correctly - Utilize a forklift to load and unload shipments as needed - Use RF scanners to track inventory levels and update the warehouse management system (WMS) - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field preferred - Proficiency in using forklifts and RF scanners - Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes - Knowledge of AS400 or other MRP systems is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.69 - $19.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
