Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED, College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities (but not limited to):

This person must be extremely organized, disciplined, and self motivated.

• Assists warehouse / shop supervisor with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team.
• Performs all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities with an asap mind set or according to date indicated and leads additional team members as required; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.
• Leads by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary, trains, motivates, and coaches others as needed.
• Manage inventory control process to ensure accuracy & assure quality packaging/product within the warehouse as well as assisting and leading audit activities in the warehouse.
• Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.
• Obtain shipping quotes when needed
• Learn and apply all policies and procedures of dealers/distributors
• Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders. Keep up with/have knowledge of all shipping regulations to include international orders
• Forecasts needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly and works with the warehouse / shop supervisor to ensure these needs are met.
• Performs administrative tasks as necessary.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
• Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified
• Must comply with all safety requirements
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
