Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Longview, TX
Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Operate forklift & pallet jack
- Receiving & put-away of inventory
- Pre-Box & stock rebuild operators, motors, and gearboxes
- Print barcode labels & package inventory for shelves
- Load/Unload UPS truck
- Assist with inventory cycle counts
- General cleaning & housekeeping of warehouse
- Answer phone as required
