Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Logan, UT

Nexeo is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to facilitate the seamless flow of goods in and out of our facility. This entry-level, temporary position may evolve into a long-term role for exceptional performers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in logistics, possess basic computer skills, exhibit physical dexterity, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

•   Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure accuracy.

•   Unpack, inspect, and record received items in inventory systems.

•   Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to established procedures.

•   Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.

•   Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.

•   Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

•   Assist with additional warehouse tasks including stocking shelves, fulfilling internal material requests, and maintaining supplies.

•   Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications

•   Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment.

•   Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.

•   Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, and walk for extended periods.

•   Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

•   Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

•   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$14.00 - $19.00 Per Hour

Schedule

8:00am – 5:00pm | Monday – Friday
