Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Accountability: Responsible for the management of all material (component) movement in the Signaling Company including inventory storage, documentation, shipping, and receiving.

Physical Requirements: Mobility to participate in travel if required to customer and supplier locations; lifting of up to 50 pounds in the performance of duties.
Environmental Conditions: Performs duties primarily in office / shop environment, in and around moving vehicles. Occasionally performs duties in warehouse environment. Limited exposure to weather elements; and appropriate PPE required.
Major or Unusual Problems: Acquisition and inventory management of parts under short timeframes within a rapidly growing company. Necessity to be available, solve and expedite problems to ensure adequate coverage for responding to problems.
