Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Idaho

Full Time Position Up to 40 Hours per week

Hours will vary between 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday

Our Mac’s team is small and family orientated. We have a fun fast paced atmosphere and are passionate about what we do. Everyone wears many hats and although the main responsibilities of this position will be daily shipping of customer orders and receiving of daily shipments, it is not limited to just these tasks.

We are looking for someone who is a natural team leader that works well with all types of personalities, leads by example, manages their areas of responsibility efficiently as well as accurately and last but not least, is happy to jump in wherever the help is needed with a smile.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily packaging and shipping of customer orders
• Minimize errors by reviewing orders for accuracy before they are shipped
• Packing, palletizing and scheduling freight pick up for large shipments
• Daily receiving of shipments arriving
• Direct support role to Shipping & Receiving Lead
• Maintain organized shipping area
• Support company policies and procedures through leading by example
• Answer shipping and receiving calls and make outbound calls on an as needed basis.
• Maintain confidentiality with all sensitive business information with other employees, family or friends.

• Must be comfortable with learning to use a fork-lift; prior experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Detailed oriented and organized.
• Ability to be flexible and embrace changes within the organization as business needs change.
• Ability to leave personal problems at the door and maintain professionalism at work in attitude, actions and appearance.

Work Environment:

• This position works collaboratively in a team environment.
• Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 70 pounds and standing for the majority of the 8 (eight) hour workday.
• Work involves repetitive, strenuous use of arms, wrist, and hands.
• Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment.
• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
