Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Hawaii

Our Purchasing and Distribution Department is very busy and an essential part of AED Institute, and as such, we are looking for an individual who can work independently and effectively with minimal supervision to support our P&D Manager. 

SCHEDULE : Monday through Friday

SHIFT: Full Time

PAY RATE: Negotiable, starting $17-$18 per hour with benefits

TERRITORY: Oahu Office

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Will require travel to neighbor Islands
• Service AED cabinets and AED equipment for wear and tear and expiration of pads and batteries for both cabinet and AED device.
  
• Teach AED inservice sessions and recommend Community Training Programs.
  
• Prepare inspection documents prior to inspection, pull inventory from stock to make sure stock is recorded to the proper client
• Demonstrates product and company knowledge to be able to suggestive sell items specific to client's need
• First Aid restocking 
• Data and documentation entry of inspections and supplies
• Follow up on open and outstanding invoices for the department
• Work with supervisor to identify stock needs, assist with receiving stock, transfer stock, and restocking shelves
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor

• Ensure products received are entered into inventory in a timely manner
  
• Focused attention to order picking accuracy
• Ensure time of order to ship/delivery meets expectations
• Meet the required shipments processed in a set time period
• Ensure shipping and deliveries are in quoted time frame

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy office setting
• Must have an excellent driving record and current Hawaii driver’s license
• Strong customer service skills.
• Passionate about people and being successful.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask as needed
• Highly organized
• Good at staying on top of a growing to-do list
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have strong and accurate computer skills
• Must be a people person and team player
• Must be comfortable working autonomously and making decisions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand for an extended period
