Hanvey Engineering & Design is a premier builder of mobile business vans, grooming vans, dental vans and other specialty vehicles located in Easley, South Carolina.  Our company is a fast-paced production facility seeking individual contributors that have demonstrated competency operating a variety of tools including, but not limited to table saws, chop saws, and misc. hand power tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify incoming material; check and match packing slip with purchase order; verify for proper quantity and product
• Print purchase orders

• Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting on shipping and receiving activities.
• Follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation schedules
• Prepares outgoing  paperwork for shipment
• Verify quantity, weight and conformance of materials with customer requirements
• Processes airway bills, freight bills, packing sheets and other customer specific documentation

• Maintains and cleans work area
• Call customers for orders they need to pick up
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous shipping/receiving and inventory control experience preferred
• Experience in driving a forklift
• Good math skills
• Good communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Normal range of hearing and vision.
