Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Our OpportunityNorth American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk - I to join our team. The ideal candidate will accurately and efficiently record and report shipping data in support of the Warehouse function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Maintains shipping records within the AS400 system through daily input.
- Makes minor corrections, codes items, and maintains records of shipping documents processed.
- Verifies shipping reports against control totals, reviews for accuracy, and distributes reports to the appropriate departments.
- Informs departments of missing or incorrect shipping data.
- Schedules daily shipments and transmits shipment totals to the customers electronically.
- Coordinates communication between customer service, the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, and/or the team leader.
Requirements
Your Background
High School Diploma or GED, plus 0 to 2 years of prior data entry or office/clerical experience.
