Shipping and Receiving Clerk assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies. Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation. Additionally, Shipping and Receiving Clerk typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to supervisor. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Must have a high school diploma or GED, Good communications skills, good physical condition, being able to lift 50lbs. Must have a valid driver's license, good handwriting, able to work overtime, including Saturdays. Must have basic computer and math skills. Lawn maintenance skills and landscaping skills.
Duties include:
Control of store inventory, receiving of items, shipping and packaging of completed products, able to load freight (wooden crates into semi trucks), Some driving required to deliver and pick up inventory. Forklift skills and carpentry skills a plus. Lawn and landscaping skills a plus.
Must have Covid 19 vaccination or be willing to be vaccinated under CDC guidelines.
