Job Summary:
House of Design LLC, a robotics system integrator in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking an exceptional individual who can immediately impact our efforts to develop and implement cutting edge automated solutions.
he House of Design Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk position is responsible for receiving, incoming inspection of engineered parts, kitting of material for the operations team, and shipping out orders. This position will require flexibility to assist in different areas as workloads fluctuate.
Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Act as local area courier making deliveries to job sites, picking up materials and supplies from vendors.
- Coordinates with vendors to maintain vendor-managed inventories.
- Perform loading and unloading of shipments using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklift equipment.
- Conducts inventory and cycle counts as needed, and logs data into inventory databases as required.
- Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location, and issue inventory as required.
- Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams/processes as needed.
- Support Supply Chain team in quarterly OKR’s
Requirements:Skills/Abilities:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be part of a collaborative team to solve problems.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints/drawings and electrical schematics.
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to adapt to varying projects and priorities daily.
- Ability to manage small scale projects from initial concept to completion.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal team and external clients.
- Must have basic computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite recommended.
- Ability to safely drive and operate forklift, previous forklift operator certification preferred.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required to support shop, engineering, and integration teams.
Education/Experience:- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
- 2-3 years of experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
- Experience with FedEx/UPS shipping.
- International shipping experience a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:- Must be able to stand for long periods of time along with walking, sitting, repetitive movement, reaching (including but not limited to above shoulder reaching), repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, leaning, and twisting.
- Able to lift 50 pounds in accordance with HoD safe work practices.
