Shipping and Receiving Clerk jobs in Allentown, PA

Shipping / Receiving Clerk – This position receives raw materials and ships finished goods. The position is located in the Shipping / Receiving Department.

Education

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Tasks and Work Activities

Receive and inspect raw materials into Inventory, verify that quantities received and material type are correct, label material accordingly

• Move raw materials to appropriate location in plant
• Inspect / Box finished goods as produced, put into finished inventory
• Off loom inspection of finished goods, cutting rolls into specific lengths
• Schedule shipping pick-ups with truckers or UPS
• Prepare finished goods for shipment
• Perform visual inspections of work area to assure that area is safe
• Communicating with Supervisors – Providing necessary information to supervisors regarding any issues regarding the raw materials, or finished goods or shipping instructions
• Other duties as required by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
