The general responsibilities of the Shipping Helper are to break down skids, pull orders, print labels, label cartons, assemble skid loads, and wrap skids.
Essential duties include:
Put cartons in correct location. Pull shipping order by day schedule. Record carton quality and weight and number of cartons. Print shipping label. Label carton per correct quality and number of carton. Place cartons on proper skids and wrap skids putting a billed label on full skids and mixed load on mixed skids. Ability to maintain regular attendance record for required work schedule.
Qualifications include:
Forklift license. Able to communicate effectively in English with or without a translator (speak, read and write). Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Hours: 6 am – 2 pm (hours subject to change based on production/shipment needs)
