Troubleshoots shipping delays or changes with carriers and communicates to customers. Additionally, Shipping Specialist ensures shipping protocols and documentation meet required regulatory requirements for hazardous materials (DOT/HAZMAT) or special handling. Investigates and resolves shipping non-conformance. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Shipping Specialist works under moderate supervision. Required Experience (Customs Entry Writer):
One (1) year of experience in freight forwarding and customs clearance preferred. However, candidates with experience or coursework related to International Business, Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics are encouraged to apply.
Required Language (Customs Entry Writer):
Read, write, and speak English fluently. Bi-lingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus.
