The Shipping Specialist may perform a variety of tasks, which provide support for the warehouse and production line.

These tasks can vary day to day, depending on customer needs and current workload/assignments.

The Shipping Specialist supports the Production Operation by shipping product to customers.

Performing cycle counts to ensure system and physical inventories match. Establish new processes and improve existing processes.

• Receive finished goods inventory into inventory tracking systems (transact, label, transfer, stock)

• Performing quality audits as product arrives

• Picking finished goods products

• Packing (boxing/labeling) products

• Processing all required documents to facilitate any shipment (packing list, commercial invoices transfer form, customs declaration, etc.)

• Track and provide shipment status to team members and investigate and help resolve shipping related issues

• Extensive email communications with customers and other Stakeholders

• Performing cycle counts

• Operate powered equipment

• Manages requests via E-mail

• Reviews for prioritization and clarity of request

• Follows up on any unresolved or lingering requests

• Clearly and proactively communicates request status and request closure

• Effectively works or delegates customer requests depending on tasks involved

• Schedules shipments for finished goods delivery notes

• Pre alerts carriers for outbound delivery totals

• Participate in clean-up activities with other employees

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Pay: From $20.97 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Portland, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required)
