Shipping Specialist jobs in Colorado
Shipping Specialist prepares shipping documentation and processes orders. Coordinates the preparation and organization of bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and required export licenses or compliance documents. Being a Shipping Specialist utilizes enterprise resource planning (ERP) or other systems to record and track all shipping transactions. Troubleshoots shipping delays or changes with carriers and communicates to customers. Additionally, Shipping Specialist ensures shipping protocols and documentation meet required regulatory requirements for hazardous materials (DOT/HAZMAT) or special handling. Investigates and resolves shipping non-conformance. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Shipping Specialist works under moderate supervision. Summary:
The Shipping Specialist will be responsible for providing support in the Shipping and Fulfillment department through pulling and packing orders for case shipments and pallet shipments.
Flexibility with weekly schedule but Saturdays are required from 8:30a-5p.
Successful Implementation Of This Role Requires- Accurately and efficiently pulling and packaging orders for ground and pallet shipments
- Working with shipping and fulfillment software such as Shipstation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast paced environment
- Desire to be accurate and take personal pride in the work being performed
- Ability to operate pallet shrink wrapper, banding machines, taping machines
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work on production line as necessary
- Using a pallet jack, stacker, and possibly a forklift (training provided)
Set schedule * 32 hours per week between 8:30a-5:00p * Saturdays required.
