Shipping Operations Manager jobs in Union, NJ

COSCO Shipping (North America) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy General Manager for the Corporate Finance Department at Secaucus, NJ.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Treasury Management – including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly requirements
• Risk minimization management and business opportunity forecasting
• Maintain insurance coverage for all companies, manage the renewal process
• Administer the 401k plan with weekly, monthly and yearly duties
• Chair the 401(k) Plan Fiducuary Committee
• Review payroll input twice a month.
• Review monthly bank reconciliation for all bank accounts
• Coordinate hiring function for department and track employee PTO
• Governmental reporting on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
• Debt Management and collection
• Other activities as requested by the GM

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Business Law.
• Experience managing and administering 401k retirement plans (preferred)
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountants) designation preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
