The Shipping Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping operations for the Loomstate Distribution Center, including operations for our most valued partners and third party customers.This includes overseeing the processing, routing, tracking of shipments through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and third-party freight forwarders. The role demands operational knowledge of shipping systems, ability to physically handle goods, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Principal Job Functions:
Shipping Operations Management: Oversee the shipping of all orders efficiently and effectively, ensuring they meet customer specifications and deadlines.
Carrier Coordination: Manage relationships and operations with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and third-party freight forwarders for shipping and tracking of orders.
Forklift Operation: Be trained and licensed to operate a forklift for loading shipments and unloading deliveries into the staging area, processing, and stocking.
Delivery Inspection: Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality upon receipt.
