May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field. Being a Ship Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. As a print production associate, your job will consist of taking orders from clients and processing them in to finalized prints. Experience with Adobe is preferred, these programs are used to design and layout customer requests for printing. Small local shop atmosphere so you have to be quick and affluent in the Adobe Suites and Office programs. Job duties include menu design, business cards, flyers, booklets, photo printing and more. Attention to details, measurements, trimming, binding preferred but will train the right person. Must be courteous with customers, and being able to understand their needs.
