Ship Engineer repairs and maintains gasoline and diesel engines in boats, such as yachts, tugs, and trawlers, following specifications. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field. Being a Ship Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Ship Engineer performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ship Sunshine is looking for a teammate to join us part-time to help pack orders and help with various admin work and projects around the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
This position may require repetitive work and is a very independent role. We are a small team so work very closely together. May be required to back up or assist other teammates with various office and warehouse responsibilities.
Flexible schedule - half days or a couple of full days a week - anytime between 8-5 p.m.
MUST LOVE DOGS! We have a few office pups at our warehouse that we ask everyone to help cuddle and keep an eye on.
