Position: Survey Party Chief

We are looking for a Survey Party Chief to join our team! As a Survey Crew Chief, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing field surveys, maintaining equipment integrity, and delivering accurate data to our clients. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for detail, we want to talk to you!

A day in the life:

• Collecting field data using total stations, GPS receivers, high-definition scanners, digital levels, tablets, ArcGIS Collectors, drones, boats.
• Performing all types of field survey work including control, topography, boundary, construction layout, elevation certificates, control.
• Daily post-processing of field data
• Daily coordination and collaboration with your team to get projects executed efficiently.
• Checking the accuracy of field data.

What you bring to GdB, a SAM Company:

• 2-5 years of experience performing surveying work using conventional, GPS survey equipment for construction layout, boundary, as-builts, and control work
• Land surveying experience or strong desire to learn land surveying
• The ability to interpret and understand plans, maps, and legal descriptions
• Willingness to travel for some out-of-town work and overnight stays
• A valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles to job sites
• Someone focused on safety
