Job Title: Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
Minimum 1 year experience required.
The successful candidates for the Sewing Machine Operator position will be able to review work orders and instructions given by the production supervisor. He/she will be able to set up machinery with proper sewing thread and make necessary adjustments. He/she will be a team player willing to go beyond duties assigned and take initiative to help out where needed.
Under the supervision of the Production Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring all necessary materials are available prior to beginning a task. They will be responsible for reviewing patterns and/or original sample to ensure accuracy and understanding of what is expected of the product. He/she will report any issues of machinery or production to the production manager in a timely manner. This position will also ensure that garments that require special instructions (ex. Tags, labels) are placed with accuracy in the proper location of each garment and that a complete inspection of the product is done at completion.
