JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant /Check Writer
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: PAM Finance Team Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Personal Affairs Management -PAM Finance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Large volume of automated check writing interfacing Quickbooks and NetSuite
· Correspondence, telephone & research for client accounts at direction of Supervisor
· Scanning PAM client’s documents to electronic file keeping system Notables.
· Performs basic administrative tasks to include all agency required paperwork, statistical reporting, correspondence, and client related services.
· Participates in staff meetings by bringing in relevant issues for discussion and review.
· Complies with all Agency policies and applicable federal and state law, adherence to all elements of the compliance plan.
· Performs all other duties as may be necessary or requested by supervisor or the Director of Finance.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Ability to establish positive professional working relationships with clients and their families, co-workers, financial institutions, Commissioners of Accounts and members of the community.
· Knowledge and office work experience
· Ability to work effectively with volunteers.
· Preferable experience in the use of Quickbooks and NetSuite software
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
· Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
May include: lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for one hour at a time
Education and Experience:
· Combination of education and/or relevant work experience in banking, investments, accounting, business. Excellent written and verbal skills required.
